Smile Marine Parents

The reason that this link is "stuck" at the top, is that this is currently my favorite site that provides direct support to our active-duty heroes and heroines. They even have unit pages for parents of ANGLICO Marines.

You have to register, but unlike this website you may self-register. Posts are moderated, and a strict Op-Sec policy is in effect.

Here is a link to the ANGLICO goodies from their non-profit organization, raising money that supports heroes:

Thumbs up ANGLICO gear

You can find ANGLICO gear at any number of "for profit" websites. My personal preference is to acquire such things, for gifts or reunions, from non-profits that support Marines. That's why I was excited when I found this website.

Think I'd be too much of a stickler if I told them that ANGLICO is all caps? The CafePress did a good job of putting logos on a lot of different items, but I don't know that I'd buy something where ANGLICO is not written correctly. I know 99% wouldn't know the difference, but it would matter to me...

Wonder if I could get the HQ6 to wear an ANGLICO thong? :D

Default Good idea

you don't have to embarass them in the open forum, but you can simply PM one of the volunteers and suggest that sales will improve if they do it right!

I've invited one of the volunteers in the 2nd ANGLICO area to join in here, provided a password and all, but they haven't.

Like you, I don't want to sport anything that doesn't correctly display our unit's insignia or name.

Thanks for noticing that, maybe we can get it corrected.

Thanks for taking care of it. Been off getting ready for the new job and I haven't stuck my head in here for a while.

Glad to hear they understood.

Default DEPLOYMENTS: Care Packages: Customs Forms

All packages shipped to an APO/FPO address require a customs form. You DO need to list the entire contents of the package. On the customs form, check the box for "bona fide gift". Click here for example of new January 2004 form. The new form (January 2004) is multi-part and you will get a copy for yourself. Our local post office will continue to accept the old forms (October 2001) until they are used up. Check with your local post office for their guidelines.
Your local postal facility will give you the customs forms to use. Ask them if you can take a stack home with your to save time at the counter the next time you come in to mail a package to your Marine.

For additional information on this guideline, see article B1 of the USPS Restrictions as posted in the Postal Bulletin 22127. Click here for example showing 8 areas to complete.
